Save time and money by correctly topping-up your forklift battery
Lead-acid batteries can be expensive to replace and when one fails it can take a large chunk of time out of your day. The biggest cause for premature failure of LABs is either overtopping or undertopping them.
Furthermore, the incorrect or inability to perform this vital maintenance is the most common reason for battery manufacturers no to honour the warranty.
Whereas undertopping can actually increase acid strength in a battery, and so increas the corrosion rates on the plates and reduces the capacity of the cells, overtopping will generally diminish the strength of the battery acid and greatlyreduce the performance of the battery, and therefore the forklift.
