About the role
WRMH is looking for Junior Engineer / Apprentice candidates who want to start properly. This role is about learning the basics, supporting the team, building confidence and developing the habits that make someone valuable in a practical engineering business.
You do not need to arrive with certificates, industry experience or a finished skill set. We are interested in people who turn up, listen, ask questions, work safely, take pride in small jobs and want to improve every week.
What you will be doing
- Learning workshop routines, safe working habits, basic equipment handling and how the team keeps jobs moving.
- Helping with practical preparation, cleaning, checking, simple support tasks and keeping work areas organised.
- Supporting engineers with tools, parts, job information and follow-up tasks as your confidence grows.
- Building understanding of forklifts, materials handling equipment, customer expectations and service standards.
- Showing every day that you can be relied on, trusted and developed into a stronger member of the team.
Who we are looking for
- Solid work ethic: someone who turns up, tries properly and understands that trust is built through consistency.
- Willingness to learn: a person who listens, asks sensible questions and wants to get better through real work.
- Team attitude: someone who helps, respects others and wants to become a valued active part of the operation.
- No ego needed: you do not need experience or qualifications, but you do need humility, effort and pride in improving.
What WRMH will offer
- A real starting point with experienced people around you and practical work to learn from.
- A team that values attitude, reliability and progress, not just what is already on a CV.
- Exposure to forklifts, workshop standards, service support, parts and customer-focused engineering.
- A chance to grow into someone useful, confident and valued inside the WRMH team.
